You've been hearing a lot about the GLASS-STEAGALL ACT lately.
Dan E is an example of how a person's ideological orientation and automatic acceptance of party hack talking points can lead them to believe something that is the opposite of reality.
Take a look at this LEGISLATION, passed in 1999. Notice the 90-8 vote. Can you spell FILIBUSTER proof and VETO proof, boys and girls? Notice who was CHAIRMAN of the Senate Banking Committee at the time.
For 200 points, and still only enough points to come in last in this game, Dan E, tell us exactly what role PRESIDENT CLINTON had in that fiasco - one of the stewpidier COMPROMISES he made while President.
