There's no need for you to find the use of filibusters by Republicans objectionable--even if they use it 4-5 times as often as any time in the history of our country. I am making no claim about the use of the Filibuster being objectionable. History, who can be a real BITCH (see: Hoover, Herbert, or, alternatively, see: Bush, George, 10, 100, 1000 years from now) will ultimately decide that question. As for HYPOCRISY, I think that occurs when one party complains about the actions of the other party--then outdoes them with the form of abuse they are complaining about, like with abuse of the FILIBUSTER. Hey, let's take one more look at that filibuster graph...

Now we are back at your math difficulties. There are 100 people in the Senate. Can you show me a bill that got only 55 votes? Something like 55-45 or 90-8, is the usual count. The only people who come out clean on the GRAMM-LEACH-BLILEY ACT are the eight Democrats who voted against it. The Democrats who voted for it: IDIOTS. The Republicans who wrote the law and voted for it: GREATER IDIOTS (and that BITCH history will likely blame them for the current disaster).

Well, for one, we still have a CONSTITUTION, two, we still have a CONGRESS that can make laws. REPUBLICANS could have written and passed oversight laws any time between 1995 and 2006. They didn't (except for a series of laws . The pResident also has some oversight powers and could have used them. He didn't. For example, President Roosevelt, during World War II, hired a guy named Harry Truman to investigate and prosecute war profiteers. He was later given an even more important job. Harry would be a VERY busy man today.
And, DUDE, you really need to learn something about linking to cited material. Get one of the older kids in your high school to show you how. Or take an HTML Tutorial course before you graduate. You'll get snickered at in community college if you don't know this stuff.
